The March 2003 Anti-War Protests was a world wide movement protesting the invasion of Iraq. An amateur photographer at the time, I was thrust into capturing the protests while visiting San Francisco. How could anyone not take notice when over 350,000 people world-wide cried out to protest a war for oil?
As I was quickly walking through the crowds looking for key images I came across Guerrilla theatre. The artists, who I believe were part of San Francisco's Mime Troupe, were depicting a scene horror as they looked upon the sky while bombs rained down.
I quickly snapped a few and moved on as I was lured away by the sound of a sax. I had to find where that music was coming from in the middle of the chaos I was in.
